Die Wii U unterstützt leider nur noch Wii Games. Allerdings wurde in einem Interview mit Amber McCollom - Director of Entertainment & Trend Marketing bei Nintendo of America - bekannt, dass die Wii U noch Pläne für den Wunderwürfel hat:

"Actually the GameCube discs will not be compatible with Wii U, but a number of the games that were playable on GameCube can be downloaded from WiiWare."

Die Dame meinte vermutlich Virtual Console, denn Software des 3DS wird mittlerweile nicht mehr mit Ware bezeichnet. Aber auf jeden Fall dürfen wir uns wohl über Gamecube-Downloads für die Wii U freuen.
