Zum Pikmin-Franchise meint Miyamoto: "The Pikmin team is, of course, still there and maybe we'll have something to talk about before too long."

Auf Nachfrage zu einem neuen New Super Mario Bros. für DS, wand sich Miyamoto lange. "That team is also working hard" war schließlich sein Kommentar.

Die eifrigen IGN-Interviewer "befahlen" Miyamoto dann zudem noch ein neues Mario Galaxy-Game zu entwerfen. Miyamotos lässiger Konter darauf: "Leave it to me."

UPDATE:IGN sprach Miyamoto auch noch auf potentielle Kid Icarus - Titel an.  Er antwortete darauf: “Yeah, I’m not the producer of any Kid Icarus titles” und weiter “There are some people who have some different ideas, but since I’m not the producer I can’t comment on anything.”

Desweiteren stellte Miyamoto auch einige baldige Ankündigung bzgl. der Lösung des Speicherplatz-Problemes der Wii in Aussicht.
