AIAS Awards - Gewinner bekanntgegeben

Die amerikanische Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences kürte zum mittlerweile achten mal die Gewinner ihres Spiele Awards. In den insgesamt 39 Kategorien für PC und Konsole, konnten Nintendo-Plattform Spiele wie folgt punkten:
Platform Action/Adventure of the Year:
Prince of Persia - Warrior Within
Fighting Game of the Year:
Mortal Kombat: Deception
Family Game of the Year:
Donkey Konga
Role Playing Game of the Year:
Paper Mario II
Wireless Game of the Year:
Super Mario 64 DS
Handheld Game of the Year:
Metroid: Zero Mission
Obwohl Metroid Prime: Echoes mehrfach nominiert war, ging der Titel leer aus. Die meisten Preise heimste übrigens Half Life 2 für den PC ein.
