Warum wollte Nintendo eigentlich das Famicom in den USA als das Advanced Video System verkaufen?

Videospiele hatten durch den Crash der Videospielindustrie einen schlechten ruf und somit wollte Nintendo sein System als Homecomputer vermarkten, weil Computer als Seriöser galten und Nintendo sich somit überhaupt erst eine Chance ausrechnete ihr System zu verkaufen.

Eine Happy Meal Promotion war geplant, jedoch wurde das Spiel 4 Monate später als geplant fertiggestellt und MC' Donalds glaubte nicht dass es ein gutes Spiel ist, weshalb eine grosse Promotion niemals zustande kam, einzig ein Gutschein fürs Spiel wurde ins Happy Meal beigelegt.
