HERE’S THE MONSTER HUNTER 4 ULTIMATE E3 TRAILER, COMING TO WEST EARLY 2015

Launching on Nintendo 3DS in the west in early 2015, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will be the newest installment in the popular Monster Hunter series. Players will take on the role of a hunter on a grand adventure with a traveling caravan visiting several new locales with hundreds of quests to be cleared on the way. For the first time ever for the Monster Hunter series on a handheld system, players will be able to join up with friends over the internet via the Nintendo Network, as well as the previously available local wireless option. The game will introduce an expanded action set including more vertical and lateral movement, fluid climbing motions, and ability to ride atop monsters. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate also debuts two weapon classes, features new and returning monsters, and spans more locales for the most robust hunting experience than ever before.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate getting 3DS controller accessory

When Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate hit the 3DS many people swiftly purchased for themselves a Circle Pad Pro, as the extra analogue stick made navigation in the game much simpler. Third party manufacturer Hori are trying to take this one step further with the Extended Slide Pad controller, creating console like shoulder buttons to make the playing experience closer to a home console. 2 streams of the device will be released, one for the 3DS and one for the XL each for 2 980 yen. An accessory kit is also on the way featuring a cleaning cloth, strap and decal for 2 180 (3DS version) and 2 2280 yen (XL version).

Irgendwie verstehe ich den Vorteil nicht so ganz

MH3U war ohne zweites Circle Pad mühsam zu spielen (bzw. nur für harte Zeitgenossen wie Nick), das Circle Pad Pro schaffte schaffte da Abhilfe. Bei MH4U will Hori nun wohl auch etwas vom Kuchen abhaben.

Das ist mir schon klar, für mich war es ohne Circle Pad Pro eigentlich unspielbar ...

Allerdings verstehe ich nicht wieso man dann den zweiten Analogstick auf die Position der linken Schultertaste setzt

Hab keine Probleme mit MH3U 3DS gehabt. Touchscreen-Steuerkreuz richtig positionieren und okay ist's.

Ich habe mal versucht, auf der PSP MH zu spielen, aber nach 2 Stunden musste ich feststellen, dass das für mich mit meinen Pranken gar nicht möglich ist.

Hättest es auf einer PS Vita versuchen sollen, da klappt's ohne Probleme. :3

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate: US-Boxart und Link in Aktion3DS

Capcom hat nun das US-Boxart zu Monster Hunter 4 veröffentlicht. Außerdem gibt es einen neuen Trailer, bei dem ihr einen Hunter im Linkkostüm erleben und dabei seine Ausrüstung näher betrachten könnt. Der Publisher meint auch, dass es noch einige weitere Überraschungen geben soll. Das Spiel wird im 1. Quartal 2015 erscheinen.
